David Petrovich for Children Association Asociatia David Petrovich pentru Copii

The national campaign “I Choose the OPERA!”, with the purpose of attracting and educating Gifted Children into the operistic phenomenon.

Activities:

1. Periodical events as performances on the Grand Stage of the National Opera House in Bucharest, in which series of 10 Children of Excellence are in an artistic dialogue and exchange of ideas  with 10 Great Personalities in different areas of Cultural Life, as their mentors, who guide each of them along their personal development.
2. Educative performances for the children, with operatical themes.
3. Courses of Performing Arts dedicated to Gifted Children, during which they are guided through creating, sustaining, performing and promoting a musical show on stage.

All these activities are an alternative form of education, as in Romania we have no national educational form dedicated to the Gifted Children.
