Institutions worldwide, involved in the extra-curricular science education of talented young people, cooperate and form together the Network of Youth Excellence NYEX e.V. NYEX aims to motivate and train high-school students and undergraduate university students to become future researchers, while introducing them to the international scientific community.
The activities of NYEX members and fellows range from camps, seminars, conferences and workshops to festivals and popular science lectures. The network promotes and shares information about student exchanges, student presentation opportunities, mentor/teacher exchanges, contests, and ideas for science demonstrations and curricula.
After its foundation by Professor Péter Csermely from the Hungarian Research Student Foundation in 2002, NYEX became a non-profit organization, and a corporate society with full rights and financial advantages according to German law (e.V.).
NYEX seeks new dedicated members and fellows who are willing to offer their skills abilities, and/or resources in service to the network.
