Igazgyöngy (Real Pearl) Foundation was created 13 years ago in one of the most deprived micro-regions of Eastern Hungary, in Berettyóújfalu. The core activity of the Foundation is afternoon arts education, amalgamated with social work so as to form a very special experience. More than 70% of the 650 students that the foundation deals with on an annual basis are underprivileged. The rate of Gypsy students is high and 250 children live in deep poverty.
