Zertifizierte begabungsfördernde Volksschule PVS 10 Neulandschule Elementary School PVS 10 Neulandschule, awarded with the Vienna City Award for Schools Promoting Giftedness
PVS 10 is a general primary school with additional activities for gifted students – including: “revolving door model” for highly gifted students, extra maths workshops and “learning workshops”.
To be awarded with the Vienna City Award for Schools Promoting Giftedness the following quality criteria must be fulfilled:
School profile must include concepts of promoting giftedness
Steering groups are implemented
a minimum of 25% of teachers underwent training in promoting giftedness
„revolving door models“ or „pull out programms“ are part of the school concept
working with portfolios
further individual support measures (studios, participation in competitions, …) are being applied
