The North-Backa Talent Point gained its outstanding status in 2010. Since 1996, within the scope of the Association of Pedagogues of North-Backa, the Coffman Judit School for Talented Students works with the aim to propagate natural sciences, in particular Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, in elementary schools. It organizes its lectures at weekends for all those pupils who are interested in those fields of science and are already selected by their teachers and schools.
It is a non-profit organization, active since 2005. Its activities have been focused on designing of research projects on gifted and talented in primary and secondary education, teachers’ training, parents’ sensitization, designing and implementation of specialized educational programs, creating specialized educational material, and offering psychological support of the gifted/talented individuals and their family members, within family, school system and social context.
In the center, self-development coaching studies are carried out by Prof. Dr. Necate BAYKOÇ for the normally developed, gifted and talented, genius babies, children, adolescents. Moreover, group studies with gifted and talented children are carried out upon individual interviews.
